Ksenia Tornay’s art captures nature’s fleeting moments, transforming elements like water, sunlight, and mountains into vibrant visuals. Based between Lausanne and Sion, Tornay returned to painting after exploring other paths. She combines oil, acrylic, and pastels, reflecting her connection to the surrounding landscapes.

Her paintings are inspired by the Alps and Lake Léman, showing how the forms change with light. From the last glow of autumn on the Plateau du Trient to the calm of Sion at dawn, Tornay’s work brings these landscapes to life, expressing both what is seen and felt.

Tornay seeks to convey the colors of a moment, offering a glimpse into something deeper. Her paintings invite the viewer to pause, noticing the subtle shifts in light and color, and experience the healing energy of nature.
