A selection of museum and gallery exhibitions across Europe and beyond this season.



New York — Guggenheim Museum / Robert Rauschenberg: Life Can’t Be Stopped

DATES: 10 Oct 2025 – 3 May 2026

LOCATION: Guggenheim Museum


Key works from the Guggenheim collection are shown alongside loans from the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation. A central piece is Barge (1962–63), a 32-foot silkscreen painting shown in New York again after nearly 25 years.




London — Tate Modern / Tracey Emin: A Second Life

DATES: 27 February – 31 August 2026

LOCATION: Tate Modern


The exhibition covers four decades of Tracey Emin’s work, from early pieces to recent paintings. Text works, neon, sculpture, and large canvases appear alongside each other.




Cologne — Museum Ludwig / Yayoi Kusama

DATES: 14 March – 2 August 2026

LOCATION: Museum Ludwig


More than 300 works are shown across the museum, from early drawings to recent installations. Several large-scale works extend into different parts of the building, including the rooftop terraces.




Reykjavík — National Gallery of Iceland / Björk: Echolalia

DATES: 31 May – 20 Sep 2026

LOCATION: National Gallery of Iceland


Three installations are presented in separate galleries. One introduces a new work connected to Björk’s upcoming album, while two works combine film, sound, and performance.




London — V&A South Kensington / Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art

DATES: 28 March – 1 November 2026

Garments, archive material, and later designs are shown together. The exhibition also includes collaborations with artists and designers.




Marseille — Mucem / Bonnes Mères

Around 400 works are on view, from small objects to large installations. The display brings together historical images and contemporary works, including film, sculpture, and photography.
