Morning in May Series 01-04 - Synthetic polymer on canvas, 2026

Morning Dew is Lehanneur's solo show at HAKE. The exhibition has flowers in every painting. In some, the flower is whole and intact. In others, it's broken apart on the canvas, the paint running past where the petal ends.

Lehanneur has described the work directly: "The works act as flowers themselves, offering a place to gather, reflect and lean upon. In a world carrying so much, they open a space for shared feeling, where grief can move beyond the self and become a way of meeting the world with greater empathy."
