Tampa Bay Joins the Art Fair Circuit

Art Fair Tampa opens this week at the Tampa Convention Center, with 110 artists and work in painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media. The fair brings artists from across the US, with a strong showing from Tampa Bay itself. Tony Adams, Wai Ching Shroeder and Matt Kress are among them. Alongside the booths there is live painting and sculpting, murals, and installations visitors can walk through. VIP opening night is on October 15 at 5pm, with a ribbon cutting by Mayor Jane Castor. VIP ticket holders can buy work before the public days.

Tyler Sirota, the lead organiser, wants the fair to grow into one of the biggest in the country. The first edition takes up 100,000 square feet, and the organisers expect more than 20,000 visitors.

Art Fair Tampa runs October 15 to 18, 2026.
